Jinan Yili Dairy Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Yili Group. It is located in Pingyin County, Jinan City, which is known as the “Hometown of Roses” and the “Land of the Sacred Donkey-hide Gelatin.” The company was registered and established on November 14, 2005. The project has a total investment of 500 million yuan, covers a construction land area of 300 mu, and includes factory buildings spanning 24,000 square meters and office buildings covering 2,800 square meters, along with 18,000 square meters of roads and hardened surfaces, and 8,000 square meters of green space. In 2007, its sales revenue was nearly 700 million yuan, and the annual sales revenue is expected to reach 1 billion yuan at full production capacity. Jinan Yili Dairy Co., Ltd. is the first comprehensive factory under the Yili Group that includes liquid milk, yogurt, and ice cream production.
