Huayanghua Rose Characteristic Town is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The "Huayanghua" Rose Characteristic Town Scenic Area is located in Meigui Town, Pingyin County, Jinan City. It mainly explores the over 1,300-year history and culture of Pingyin roses, integrating it with modern rose culture experiences associated with romance and love. The area encompasses multiple functions such as landscape sightseeing, leisure and entertainment, wedding photography, wedding ceremonies, medical wellness, modern factories, and tourism shopping. It aims to create a high-standard and influential comprehensive tourism service destination in China. The project covers a total area of over 4,500 acres, with a total investment of 700 million yuan. Facilities include a tourist distribution center, a national-level R&D center complex building, GMP-standard production and processing workshops, an R&D complex building, a sightseeing garden, a greenhouse expo garden, a germplasm resource nursery, a rose sea, and a wedding photography base. Currently, the production area has been largely completed and is ready to receive visitors, with industrial tourism activities already underway. The company plans to complete all the above projects within three to five years. Upon completion, it will achieve integrated development of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, including planting experience, production and processing, and tourism sightseeing, aligning with the direction of the new sixth industry.
