The Dongyu South Cliff Architectural Complex is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

The Dongyu South Cliff Architectural Complex is located in Hongfanchi Town, Pingyin County, and dates back to the Ming, Qing, and Republic of China periods.

On June 23, 2015, the Dongyu South Cliff Architectural Complex was designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Hongfanchi Town: "Hongfanchi Town is situated in the southwestern part of Pingyin County and is named after the historic and famous Hongfan Pool located in the town center. Covering an area of 115 square kilometers with 2,096 hectares of arable land, it governs 34 administrative villages. The town has 8,263 households, a population of 28,016, a birth rate of 8.29‰, and a natural population growth rate of 5.43‰.
