Xianziyu Architectural Complex

The Xianziyu Architectural Complex is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

The Xianziyu Architectural Complex is located in Yushan Subdistrict, Pingyin County, and dates back to the Ming, Qing, and Republic of China periods.

On June 23, 2015, the Xianziyu Architectural Complex was designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Yushan Subdistrict: Yushan Subdistrict is situated in the northern part of Pingyin County, Jinan City, Shandong Province, on the eastern bank of the Yellow River. It is the seat of the county government, covering an area of 90 square kilometers with a population of 100,000. The subdistrict government is located at the southern end of Huanghe Road and is named after the county. Since the second year of the Daye era of the Sui Dynasty (606 AD), it has served as the county seat. In 1948, it was part of Pingyin County’s First District; in 1956, it became Chengguan Town; in 1958, it was renamed Chengguan Commune; in 1984, it became a district; in 1985, it was renamed Pingyin Town. In 2010, it was divided into Yushan Subdistrict and Jinshui Subdistrict. The area produces wheat, corn, coarse grains, cotton, and more.
