On June 23, 2015, the Former Site of the Pingyin County Committee of the Communist Party of China was designated by the People's Government of Shandong Province as part of the fifth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Units in Shandong Province.

Kongcun Town: "Kongcun Town is located 13 kilometers south of the county seat and is named after the town government being situated in Kongcun Village. In November 2005, following a comprehensive reform of township administrative structures, the former Kongcun Town and Ligou Township were merged into the current Kongcun Town. The merged area covers 126 square kilometers, with 3,923 hectares of arable land, and governs 46 administrative villages. It has a population of 14,429 households, totaling 41,298 people, with a birth rate of 7.98‰ and a natural population growth rate of 2.37‰.
