The Shangzhong River runs north-south through the western end of the old county town of Shanghe County. After large-scale dredging, renovation, and masonry work in recent years, it has been transformed into a fully landscaped green space featuring roads, water, bridges, riverbanks, stone forests, flowers, and plants, now named Riverside Park. Nestled among ancient elms and old jujube trees, and nestled by the water’s edge, the “Three Delights Hall” is a finely crafted courtyard.
