The Wenchang River Scenic Area stretches from Binhe Road in the west to Shangdong Road in the east, bordered to the north by three key educational institutions—the County No. 2 Middle School, Hongde Middle School, and Wenchang Experimental School—and to the south by residential communities such as Wuyi Yuquan Mingcheng and Dongsheng Sunshine Garden. East of Shangzhong Road, the original river channel winds eastward beneath Hongde Bridge; the new channel flows into Yuquan Lake, where the waters are vast and the scenery picturesque. The scenic area features a multi-layered, three-dimensional space including open water surfaces, a central lake island, lakeside pathways, waterfront railings, the White Crane Pavilion, and fishing platforms. After a light rain clears and the morning sun shines anew, ripples glow red, fish leap through the waves, and anglers relax by the island, enjoying the serene moment.
