Jinan Modern Agriculture Sightseeing Demonstration Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Jinan Modern Agriculture Technology Demonstration Park is a modern agricultural complex integrating the display of high-tech agriculture, demonstration of modern agricultural production, farmer technology training, youth science education, and eco-agricultural sightseeing tourism. The park has a total planned area of 5,000 mu, divided into a modern agriculture exhibition area, a circular agriculture demonstration area, an open-field vegetable adoption area, an agricultural leisure and wellness area, an agricultural by-product processing area, and a scientific research and training service center.

Jinan Modern Agriculture Sightseeing Demonstration Park is located in the southern part of Shanghe County, west of Provincial Highway 248, east of the Shanghe River, and south of the new Route 316. It neighbors the urban industrial park to the west and the under-construction Hot Spring International Area to the east. It serves as the centerpiece of the “Two Parks and One Zone” currently being developed by the Shanghe County Party Committee and County Government. This is a modern agricultural complex integrating the display of high-tech agriculture, demonstration of modern agricultural production, farmer technology training, youth science education, and eco-agricultural sightseeing tourism. The park has a total planned area of 5,000 mu, of which the first phase covers 2,000 mu. Based on functions such as technology promotion, demonstration, farmer training, and science education, the overall layout is designed as “six zones and one center,” namely: the Modern Agriculture Exhibition Area (mainly showcasing various high-tech cultivation modes of different vegetables, combining horticultural landscaping with modern agricultural technology, and divided into scenic areas such as the Bamboo Art Corridor, High-Tech Vegetables, Farming Culture, Leisure Plaza, Tropical Landscape, and Blooming Flowers); the Circular Agriculture Demonstration Area (featuring fish and lotus co-culture for ecological cycling); the Facility Agriculture Production Area (producing various green vegetables in high-standard solar greenhouses); the Open-Field Vegetable Adoption Area (where citizens can adopt plots of land and enjoy the pleasure of planting and harvesting themselves); the Agricultural Leisure and Wellness Area (including a hundred-fruit orchard, eco-restaurant, hot spring bath, farmhouse entertainment, lotus fishing, fruit and vegetable picking, and Guzi Yangko dance performances); the Agricultural By-product Processing Area; and the Scientific Research and Training Service Center. Currently, the main framework has been completed.

The second phase of Jinan Modern Agriculture Technology Demonstration Park covers an area of over 3,000 mu, focusing on functions such as hot spring agriculture, leisure agriculture, experiential agriculture, and tourism-oriented agriculture. It integrates agricultural leisure sightseeing, fruit picking, experience activities, entertainment, shopping, hot spring therapy, and specialty dining. The main planned constructions include a thousand-mu grape sightseeing garden, a thousand-mu persimmon sightseeing garden, an orchid tissue culture and breeding center, and the Guxiang Style Island among other industrial landscape areas.
