Jinan Countryside Oasis Landscape Gardening Co., Ltd. was established in 2007 with a registered capital of 10.8 million yuan and cumulative investment of 33.58 million yuan. Guided by the principle of “people-oriented, technology-driven agriculture,” the company is dedicated to building a modern agricultural ecological park that combines rare flowers, ornamental landscaping plants, aquaculture, and sightseeing tourism. It has been recognized by Jinan City as a leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, one of the top ten sightseeing and leisure agricultural demonstration bases, a modern agricultural characteristic brand base, and a leisure fisheries demonstration site.

The base features a 54,000㎡ modern intelligent greenhouse, which was expanded by 9,800㎡ in 2009, 5,000㎡ in 2010, and 15,000㎡ in 2011, enabling an annual sales volume of 300,000 potted plants. The base engages in high-end flower cultivation year-round, including Cymbidium, Phalaenopsis, Cattleya, and Anthurium, among other premium ornamental flowers. In 2009, it added foliage plants such as bird’s nest fern, Calathea, Thai golden diamond, and Chinese prayer plant. The base also offers flower rental and leasing services, as well as the sale of fresh-cut flowers and hydroponic plants. It serves as a teaching and research base for landscape flowers at Shandong Agricultural University and has jointly developed multiple research projects with the university. The site is rich in geothermal resources, with one geothermal well that can provide heating for 60,000㎡ of greenhouse space. Rare flower greenhouses use geothermal heating in winter, reducing costs to one-fourth of coal-fired heating and offering the advantage of easily controlled temperatures. The cultivated flowers all meet top-grade and Grade A standards.

The aquaculture division utilizes geothermal wastewater to breed various premium tropical fish, nutritional fish, ornamental fish, and Pacific whiteleg shrimp. The Pacific whiteleg shrimp are known for their thin shells, plump bodies, delicious meat, high meat yield, and rich nutrition. The company is focused on developing its unique “mineral spring shrimp” brand. Geothermal water at suitable temperatures is also used for the winter conservation of tilapia broodstock. The company has collaborated with Ocean University of China to develop Pacific whiteleg shrimp farming, pioneering inland seafood aquaculture. Products are sold to major aquatic product markets in surrounding cities, with annual sales of over 160,000 fish and 200,000 shrimp.

The base is dedicated to creating a high-end sightseeing and leisure agricultural demonstration site. With an additional investment of 6 million yuan, it has planned and built 49 scenic zones to enhance modern urban agriculture. These include: a classical agriculture experience area, antique-style farmhouse courtyards, a large fishing area, a geothermal hot spring wellness experience zone, a specialty fresh fruit picking area, a Guzi Yangge folk performance square, a green vegetable picking area, a four-season flower viewing area, a water park, mountain climbing and sightseeing, a farmhouse breeding and hunting area, a farmhouse life experience area, and a leisure fishing garden. The fresh fruit picking area grows beautiful and easy-to-harvest fruit trees, including high-quality varieties such as winter jujube, peach, apricot, persimmon, and golden pear, allowing visitors to enjoy fruit picking, taste fresh fruit, and select gifts. At the Countryside Oasis Guzi Yangge Folk Performance Square, visitors can enjoy performances of Shanghe Guzi Yangge, a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage. Greenhouse facilities grow organic, pollution-free vegetables year-round, offering fresh, natural, and healthy produce in all seasons. Guests can also savor delicious dishes made from free-range chicken, duck, squab, and black pork raised on the farm. The water park is equipped with entertainment facilities such as jet skis and paddle boats. In the antique-style “farmhouse courtyards,” guests can enjoy the fresh vegetables they’ve picked, the fish they’ve caught, and the poultry they’ve hunted, along with mineral spring shrimp farmed in geothermal water—large, flavorful, and delicious—and year-round tilapia fishing. A sea of flowers blooms in all seasons, making this a hot spring holiday garden that combines dining, lodging, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment.

In 2008, it was awarded the title of “Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization” by the Jinan Municipal Bureau of Agriculture. In 2009, it was recognized as one of the city’s “Top Ten Sightseeing and Leisure Agricultural Demonstration Bases” and a “Leisure Fisheries Demonstration Site” by the Jinan Municipal Bureau of Agriculture, a “Contract-Abiding and Credit-Valuing Enterprise” by the Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce, an “Outstanding Agricultural Website” by the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and the Information Industry Bureau, an “Outstanding Agricultural Enterprise” by the Shanghe County Party Committee and County Government, an “Advanced Unit in Respecting Teachers and Valuing Education” by the Shanghe County Party Committee and County Government, and a “Model Unit in Three Aspects of Spiritual Civilization Construction” by the Jiahuang Town Party Committee and Town Government of Shanghe County for multiple consecutive years.
