Ruins of the Ancient Jizhou City

The ruins of the ancient Jizhou City are a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Era: Han Dynasty

The ruins of the ancient Jizhou City are located in Beiguan Village, Jizhou Town, Jizhou City. They consist of a section of earthen city wall on the northwest side of the ancient Han-era Jizhou City, extending from the northeast to the southwest, with a total length of 4,500 meters and a coverage area of 2.25 million square meters. The ditches along the west and north sides of the Han city site were originally the city moat.
