Tai'an Sun Tribe is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

At Tai'an Sun Tribe, you can enjoy a variety of amusement rides and watch prehistoric cultural performances such as "Flash Flood" and "Hunting Homecoming Parade."

The Sun Tribe Tourist Area is located in the southern suburbs of Tai'an City and is a large-scale cultural theme park centered around the Dawenkou culture, combining prehistoric cultural experiences with amusement attractions. Here, you can try some thrilling rides—like experiencing high-speed spins in Gonggong’s hands, riding a roller coaster on a bull’s back, or watching the large-scale live-action show "Flash Flood." You can also enjoy the Hunting Homecoming Parade or immerse yourself in the Dawenkou Ancient Village and Tribal Temple, traveling back to the primeval era 5,000 years ago.

Visitor Guide

There are many amusement rides at Sun Tribe. It's recommended to arrive early in the morning. You can plan your visit using the park map, but during holidays, it’s best to head for the less crowded attractions first. The admission ticket covers most rides and entertainment shows (excluding special performances held during certain periods). Some separately charged items include: the Primordial Rafting and the Antique Sightseeing Vehicle.

The scenic area is divided into six major sections: Time Travel, Dreaming Back to Dawenkou, Exploring the Primordial Age, Adventures in the Primordial Age, Love in Dawenkou, and Golden Crow Ancient Town. You can experience thrilling big rides like "Gonggong’s Fury," "Zhurong’s Wrath," and "High-Altitude Bullfighting," or try family-friendly rides such as "Beast Cars" and "Primordial Rafting." You can also enjoy the "Little Pig Sports Meet," where adorable pigs perform high diving, hurdles, swimming, and hoop jumping—or catch a 4D thriller movie.

There are also various interesting performances. For example, 20 minutes after the park opens, you can catch the Tribal Welcome Performance. Every day, there’s also the "Hunting Homecoming Parade," where primitive tribespeople dressed in animal skins and feathered headdresses slowly march to authentic tribal dance rhythms. And the large-scale live-action show "Flash Flood" lets you witness the disaster scene of torrential rain and raging floodwaters, experiencing the overwhelming power of nature—it’s definitely not to be missed.

Shopping & Dining

When you’re tired and hungry, you can grab a bite at the Tribe Restaurant or Jungle Restaurant, or try various snacks—the prices are quite reasonable.

The scenic area also features leisure venues such as a Folk Culture Street and a Pottery Experience Zone. You can also visit Golden Crow Ancient Town (a complex of antique-style buildings) to buy local specialties or folk craft souvenirs to take home.
