The Former Site of the TaiXi Anti-Japanese Armed Uprising is a cultural relic protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Former Site of the TaiXi Anti-Japanese Armed Uprising is located in Daolang Town, Daiyue District, Tai’an City, and Yiyang Town, Feicheng City, and dates back to 1938.

On June 23, 2015, the Former Site of the TaiXi Anti-Japanese Armed Uprising was designated as part of the fifth batch of Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People’s Government of Shandong Province.

Daolang Town: Located at the western foot of Mount Tai, Daolang Town borders Changqing District of Jinan to the north and Feicheng City to the west. It is traversed east-west by the Tai-Fei Highway, Railway, and the Tai-Fei First-Class Highway. Covering an area of 131 square kilometers, it governs 56 administrative villages with a population of 45,000. The western and northern parts of the town are rich in mineral and fruit tree resources, housing 12 types of mineral deposits such as granite and limestone. It is known for producing building materials like cement and crushed stone, earning the reputation as the “Hometown of Building Materials.” The town mainly produces dried and fresh fruits such as apples, chestnuts, walnuts, and pomegranates, yielding 40,000 tons of various fruits annually.
