Xijie Mosque

Xijie Mosque is a cultural relic protection unit of Shandong Province.

Xijie Mosque is located in Mazhuang Town, Daiyue District, Tai’an City, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

On October 10, 2013, Xijie Mosque was designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People’s Government of Shandong Province.

Mazhuang Town: Located in the southwest of Daiyue District, Mazhuang Town has a total population of 51,000 and covers an area of 57.23 square kilometers. It is the only all-flatland town in Daiyue District. In 2011, the town achieved a fiscal revenue of 25.09 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.7%. It ranked first in both the district’s public opinion survey and the telephone-based public security satisfaction survey across the district.
