Xiawang Mosque

Xiawang Mosque is a cultural relic protection unit of Shandong Province.

Xiawang Mosque is located in Zhudian Subdistrict, Daiyue District, Tai’an City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

On October 10, 2013, Xiawang Mosque was designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People’s Government of Shandong Province.

Zhudian Subdistrict: Located at the foot of Mount Tai, a UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage site, Zhudian Subdistrict in Daiyue District sits at the center of the district’s government offices. It borders Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province, to the north, and Qufu, the hometown of Confucius, to the south. It lies in the prime section of China’s “One Mountain, One River, One Sage” tourist route and serves as the political, economic, and cultural hub of Daiyue District, enjoying excellent locational advantages. The subdistrict covers an area of 96 square kilometers, governs 7 residential committees, 23 administrative villages, and hosts over 70 resident organizations, with a total population of more than 68,000 (excluding 34,500 residents from resident organizations).
