Mengling Han Tombs

The Mengling Han Tombs are a cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province.

Mengling Han Tombs. Located 50 meters north of Mengling Village in Nanyuwu Town, these tombs feature a 5-meter-high earthen mound covering an area of 4,200 square meters.

It is said to have been a military parade platform built during the late Eastern Han Dynasty under Yuan Shao, though some believe it was a grain storage mound or a beacon tower. In February 2001, it was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province.
