Panhe Park

Panhe Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Panhe Park area borders Lingshan Street to the north, extends to the Taixin Expressway greenbelt to the south, reaches the high-speed railway greenbelt to the west, and connects to Longtan Road to the east. The total length of the river course is approximately 13.5 kilometers, and the total length of the greenbelt is about 5.8 kilometers. Panhe Park features 5,700 acres of wetland landscape and is truly known as the "Lung of Tai’an City." Located along the ecological landscape axis, Panhe Park in Tai’an can also serve as an urban central park. Once completed, it will be over 1 million square meters larger than the world’s largest central park—New York’s Central Park in the United States. Panhe Urban Central Park will truly become the top urban central park in Tai’an and a world-class one.

The planning of Panhe Park is divided into four themed sections: Modern Section, Lifestyle Section, Antique Section, and Natural Section, featuring a total of 29 new attractions. Among them, the section from Lingshan Street in Panhe Park southward to Panhe Street will form a functional zoning layout consisting of “one central interactive activity area, three cultural exhibition areas, and multiple folk culture display points.” The three cultural exhibition areas respectively showcase Mountain Culture, City Culture, and Folk Culture.

Key nodes designed within Panhe Park include Wu Dao Shou Le (Enlightenment and Music), Shu Ke Tian Xia (Calligraphy of the World), and Sheng Shi He He Square (Prosperous Harmony Square). The design of Wu Dao Shou Le incorporates elements of Taoist culture combined with landscape features to promote and inherit Taoist traditions; Shu Ke Tian Xia uses artistic calligraphy landscapes that reflect the evolution of Chinese characters, showcasing the charm of their vertical and horizontal strokes; Sheng Shi He He Square features specialty bars and food streets, as well as Panhe Inn on both sides. Once completed, the night scenery of Panhe will rival that of Kaiyuan River, forming a stunning visual attraction.
