Former Site of the Hebei-Shandong-Henan District Party Committee

The Former Site of the Hebei-Shandong-Henan District Party Committee is a classic red tourism attraction.

Located in Hongmiao Village, Dajiazhuang Town. The Puyang-Fanxian-Guancheng Anti-Japanese Central Area was an impregnable stronghold established by the Chinese Communist Party where the military and civilians of western Shandong resisted Japanese forces. It served as a bridge connecting various anti-Japanese bases in western Shandong, southern Hebei, and northern Henan, as well as a hub linking North China with Central China, and the Taihang Mountains with the Taiyue Mountains. Later, it also became the location of the party, government, and military organs of western Shandong and the Hebei-Shandong-Henan region, hence earning the titles "Red Puyang-Fanxian-Guancheng" and "Little Yan'an of the Border Region." From November 26, 1943, to January 13, 1944, the Central Bureau of the Hebei-Shandong-Henan Region held a high-level cadre meeting in Hongmiao Village, Guancheng County. The house where Comrade Liu Shaoqi once stayed is still preserved. It is one of the three on-site teaching locations for mass line education and practice activities designated by Liaocheng City.
