Dong'e Yaowang Mountain is located within Luoshen Lake Park in Dong'e County, known as the "Hometown of Donkey-hide Gelatin in China." It is a restored historical landscape of old Dong'e and is now a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Dong'e Yaowang Mountain lies to the west of Dong'e Donkey-hide Gelatin City and faces the 800-acre Luoshen Lake to the east. The mountain features four main halls—the "Yaowang Hall," "Guanyin Hall," "God of Wealth Hall," and "Dragon King Temple"—as well as other attractions such as the Yaowang Pavilion, Wanshou Path, Bell and Drum Towers, and Fushou Platform. There are also 322 stone carvings, including panels depicting stories of Yaowang, cultural symbols of longevity, and an inscription corridor showcasing donkey-hide gelatin culture, along with over 300 types of medicinal and ornamental plants such as forsythia, peonies, and tree peonies. The stone carvings, deities, medicinal herbs, couplets, and plaques are hailed as the "Five Treasures" of Dong'e Yaowang Mountain.

Historically, Dong'e Yaowang Mountain was a renowned peak in western Shandong and a famous scenic spot in the border region of Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong, and Henan. It boasts numerous cultural relics and profound historical significance, with many scholars and poets leaving behind their calligraphy and literary works. Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong also visited the mountain multiple times during their southern tours. The site primarily enshrines the Medicine Buddha, Eight Great Yaowangs, and around 30 other deities, including the Goddess of Childbirth, God of Wealth, God of Literature, Goddess of Vision, and Dragon King, reflecting the people’s aspirations for health and peace. A local saying goes, “For blessings, longevity, and safety, come to Dong'e Yaowang Mountain.”
