Dong'e Black Donkey Breeding Base

The Dong'e Black Donkey Breeding Center is located in the western suburbs of Dong'e County, covering an area of 200 acres. It is the only black donkey breeding center for stud donkeys in China, currently housing over ten thousand donkeys. The center consists of four main parts: the Breeding Center for High-Quality Breeds, the Stud Donkey Station, the Science and Technology R&D Center, and the Donkey Culture Museum.

Currently, the Dong'e Black Donkey Breeding Center is planning to construct a Donkey Culture Museum. Once completed, this museum will be the only one in China and even the world dedicated solely to promoting and showcasing donkey culture. The museum will exhibit cultural relics, artifacts, calligraphy, and paintings related to donkey culture from ancient times to the present and from both China and abroad. It will also gather and display different breeds of donkeys from around the world.
