Dong'e Yellow River Aishan Ten-Thousand-Mu Peony Garden is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Dong'e Yellow River Aishan Ten-Thousand-Mu Peony Garden is located in Aishan Village, Tongcheng Subdistrict Office, Dong'e County, adjacent to the Aishan Gorge, an important scenic spot of the Dong'e Yellow River National Forest Park. Covering an area of over 10,000 mu with a total investment of 350 million yuan, the project will become a new eco-tourism destination integrating tourism, sightseeing, large-scale planting and breeding, and peony product R&D. The project commenced construction in October 2012. The first phase involved the planting of 2,000 mu of peonies, mainly featuring varieties from the Yellow River Peony series, intercropped with landscaping plants such as Tilia maximowicziana, magnolia, crabapple, and red crape myrtle. Unified planning was carried out for roads, ditches, and canals within the garden, with a cumulative investment of over 8 million yuan. In 2013, the second phase began, expanding the peony sightseeing and industrial park by an additional 5,000 mu on the original basis, with an estimated investment of over 20 million yuan. The overall development plan consists of “two gardens and one zone”: the Ten-Thousand-Mu Peony Sightseeing Garden, the Billion-Yuan Peony Industrial Park, and the Hundred-Thousand-People Residential Community, with a projected total investment of 2 billion yuan. Once completed, the project will serve as a key leisure and eco-agricultural sightseeing destination along the Yellow River. While generating substantial benefits on its own, it will also drive the development of surrounding tourism and service industries, making a positive contribution to local economic and social progress.
