The Dong'e Ejiao Health Culture Park is a cultural tourism attraction.

The "Dong'e Ejiao Health Culture Park," located in the western suburbs of Dong'e County, Shandong Province, was jointly funded by the Dong'e County Government and Shandong Dong'e Ejiao Co., Ltd. It is now a national AAAA-level scenic spot, a key cultural industry project in Shandong Province, and a major livelihood planning project during Dong'e County’s 12th Five-Year Plan period. It is also included in the “100 Must-Visit Tourist Attractions in Shandong” and is designated as a “Shandong Tourism Photography Base.”

Covering an area of over 200 acres, the park is a comprehensive cultural tourism project primarily showcasing the 3,000-year history of Dong'e Ejiao, including its medicinal and wellness culture. It includes sub-projects such as a film and television city and the Dong'e Medicine King Mountain.

The first phase of the Dong'e Ejiao Health Culture Park involves the construction of a film and television city. It is set against the backdrop of old Jinan and old Dong'e during the late Qing Dynasty and early Republican period, with restored streets such as East Jinan Street, South Jinan Street, and Dong'e Street serving as the main framework. The overall architectural style reflects the characteristics of the late Qing and early Republican eras. This film and television city was designed by Professor Mao Huaiqing from the Communication University of China. To date, films and TV dramas such as "The Strange Case of Little Cabbage" and "Big Mansion Gate 1912," directed by Guo Baochang, have been filmed here. The surrounding environment of the culture park is beautiful, adjacent to the Dong'e Medicine King Mountain and the Luoshen Lake Scenic Area, which features 800 acres of water surface, offering pleasant scenery. The second phase will focus on the theme of Republican-era style and Ejiao wellness, introducing businesses such as Ejiao wellness services, casual dining, specialty shopping, and entertainment interactions, aiming to create a leisure and wellness tourism destination.

On Dong'e Medicine King Mountain stands the Dong'e Medicine King Temple, which primarily enshrines the Medicine Buddha for disaster relief and longevity extension, as well as eight great medicine kings including Sun Simiao and Li Shizhen. The mountain path features a bas-relief group depicting the stories of a hundred medicine kings, an Ejiao culture stele corridor, and other attractions. The area is rich in vegetation and has numerous cultural sites.

The Dong'e Ejiao Health Culture Park, themed around Ejiao wellness, integrates four major functions: a National Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Education and Promotion Base, a Chinese Wellness and Beauty Experience Center, an important domestic film and television shooting location, and a key leisure and vacation tourism destination in western Shandong. Here, you can explore history, watch film shoots, learn about wellness, enjoy local cuisine, stroll through old streets, reminisce about ancient scenes, enjoy mountain and water views, pray for longevity and peace, purchase Ejiao products, gain knowledge while walking, seek health while eating and drinking, appreciate art amid laughter, and traverse time and space through your travels.
