Martyr Sun Xiuzhen’s Tomb is a cultural heritage site protected by Liaocheng City.

Martyr Sun Xiuzhen’s Tomb is located in Yushan Village, Danzhuang Township, Dong’e County. Dating back to 1947, it is classified as a modern-era significant historical site and representative structure.

In April 1999, Martyr Sun Xiuzhen’s Tomb was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site under the protection of Liaocheng City.

Sun Xiuzhen (1929–1947), female, was from Linma Village, Danzhuang Township, Dong’e County. At the age of 9, she became a child bride in Yushan Village. In 1943, she joined the Peasant Association and became an active member of the village Women’s Salvation Association. She joined the Communist Party of China in November 1944. In the winter of 1946, she attended a cadre training program organized by the county committee and was assigned to work in the Sixth District after completing the course. In the early hours of October 8, 1947, the puppet Dong’e County Security Brigade and the detective squad of the police bureau launched a surprise attack on Yushan Village, coercing villagers into handing over local cadres and Communist Party members.
