The Jijin River Kuixing Lake Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction. As a comprehensive destination integrating natural landscapes, eco-tourism, ancient kingdom culture, and science education, the area boasts significant historical, cultural, and scientific value. It is a well-known scenic tourism spot in surrounding counties and cities. The area is rich in resources, with fresh air and beautiful surroundings, making it an ideal place for visitors to explore and relax. Major attractions include Kuixing Lake Park, Qianshou Lake, and the Jijin River.

The Jijin River Kuixing Lake Scenic Area is located in the southwest of Shandong Province, bordering Weishan Lake to the east, Heze—China’s hometown of peonies—to the west, adjacent to Jiangsu, Anhui, and Henan to the south, and neighboring Qufu, the sacred birthplace of Confucius, to the north. It is part of Jinxiang County, known as the Land of Integrity, a model city for living and working in China, and one of China’s most beautiful leisure and resort tourism counties. Based on the development orientation of religious culture tourism, historical culture experience, and urban lifestyle leisure, and according to landscape features, developmental foundations, and relationships with urban areas—as well as objective conditions such as terrain and historical culture—the area has been structured into a distinctive and harmonious “Five Zones and Nine Scenic Spots.” The five zones include Zhen Guanguangshan Temple Pagoda, Qianshou Lake, Wanli Kuixing Tower, Jijin River Riverside Ecological Sightseeing Area, and the Historical and Cultural Zone. The nine unique landscapes are Shouhe Huawen (Revitalized Culture by the Longevity River), Baota Mokuong (Pagoda Touching the Sky), Xianqiao Buyue (Fairy Bridge under Moonlight), Gufeng Taoying (Ancient Charm and Shadows), Qixing Ban Yue (Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon), Qiuxian Wenda (Seeking Sages and Exploring the Way), Xilin Manbu (Strolling through Streams and Woods), Quyi Wen Yuan (Quyi Arts and Literature Garden), and Ancient City 0. At the foot of the thousand-year-old tower, by the green waters of the river, where city and water coexist, lies the charm of the Garlic Capital. Here, you can once again appreciate the legacy of ancient times while enjoying the freshness of ecological renewal.
