The Spring City Mound Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Spring City Mound Site is located in Jinxiang Subdistrict, Jinxiang County. Dating back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties, it was designated as part of the fourth batch of Shandong Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province in 2013.

Jinxiang Subdistrict: The Jinxiang Subdistrict Office is situated in the urban area of Jinxiang County, the hometown of the hero Wang Jie. Covering an area of 55.74 square kilometers, it administers 28 administrative villages and 8 residential committees, with a total population of 45,587 and arable land of 23,376 mu. The location enjoys favorable geography and convenient transportation and communication. It borders the Beijing–Shanghai Railway to the east and the Beijing–Kowloon Railway to the west, while National Highway 105 runs north–south through the area and Provincial Highway Dingfeng Line stretches east–west. It is only 19 kilometers away from Jining (Qufu) Airport, and inland waterways connect directly to the Grand Canal. The land here is fertile and flat, with a pleasant climate and rich mineral resources.
