Zhangpeng Courtyard is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jining City.

Zhangpeng Courtyard is located in Zhangpeng Village, Hujizhen, Jinxiang County. It is an ancient building, categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

On December 26, 2016, it was designated by the People's Government of Jining City as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Jining City.

Hujizhen: Hujizhen in Jinxiang County is situated in the northernmost part of Jinxiang County. The town administers 77 administrative villages and 122 natural villages, with a total population of 60,600 and a total area of 93.06 square kilometers, including 92,400 mu of arable land. It is a provincial-level central town and is also renowned as the hometown of China’s white-skinned pear melon.

Hujizhen boasts a long history, abundant talented individuals, and rich natural resources. Human habitation in the area dates back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties. Over ten cultural relics and historic sites, including the HuiLongshan Han Tombs, Stone Horse Statues, the tomb of Guo Dongfan — the Ming Dynasty Deputy Censor of Shanxi — and the Liu Zhuang Site from the Shang and Zhou periods, have been listed as provincial and municipal-level protected heritage sites...
