Jinxiang Wang Jie Memorial Hall

The Jinxiang Wang Jie Memorial Hall is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a cultural relics protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Wang Jie Memorial Hall is located in Yushan Town, Jinxiang County, and was built in 1968.

The Wang Jie Memorial Hall covers an area of 69 mu, with a construction area of 3,000 square meters and a total building height of 16.8 meters. The main structure is supported by 48 pillars, symbolizing a sudden emergence from the earth and representing the moment when the hero Wang Jie heroically sacrificed himself by throwing himself onto the explosive point. The name of the memorial hall was inscribed by a former member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission. Wang Jie, a heroic figure of his time as renowned as Lei Feng, was a fine son of the Chinese nation. He brought honor and glory to the people of Jinxiang and is their pride.

On October 10, 2013, the Wang Jie Memorial Hall was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural relics protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.
