On March 18, 2019, the Eastern Cemetery of the Liu Family in Zhanghekou Village was designated as part of the fourth batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Chengwu County.

Protected area and construction control zone: with the center of the southern face of the ancestral tomb stele (longitude 116°01′37″, latitude 34°56′50″) as the reference point, the protected area extends 130 meters north, 70 meters south, 45 meters east, and 75 meters west. The construction control zone extends 10 meters outward from the boundary of the protected area in all directions.
