The ancient well in Dangji Village is a cultural heritage protection unit of Chengwu County.

The ancient well in Dangji Village dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is located in Dangji Village, Dangji Town.

On March 18, 2019, the ancient well in Dangji Village was designated as part of the fourth batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Chengwu County.

Protected area and construction control zone: with the center of the southern well edge as the base point (longitude 115°56′51.85″, latitude 35°01′0.55″), the protected area extends 3.5 meters north, 2 meters south, 2.5 meters east, and 2.5 meters west. The construction control zone extends 3 meters outward in all directions from the protected area boundary.
