Chengwu County Museum

Chengwu County Museum is situated east of Hongqi Theatre. The county invested over 200,000 yuan in the renovation and design of the exhibition hall, which covers a total area of 112 square meters. The museum houses a collection of 4,806 items, with 86 on display in the exhibition hall. The establishment and opening of Chengwu County Museum hold significant importance for strengthening the construction of the socialist core value system and civic moral development.

The Humanities in Chengwu Hall primarily introduces notable figures from Chengwu’s historical transformations, highlighting the area’s profound cultural heritage. This exhibition area employs a spatial design that combines display panels, sculptures, physical artifacts, and multimedia technology to present the life stories and representative works of historical figures such as Bole, Xun Bian, Zhu Yu, Ma Mo, Pang Ji, Zhang Shou, and Zengzi. Wall reliefs depict simple yet evocative historical scenes, while half-figure busts of personalities correspond with the information on the panels, recreating the industrious, wise, resolute, and courageous spirit of the people of Chengwu, allowing visitors to experience the region’s rich cultural atmosphere.
