Wuzhang Ancient Village

Zhangcun is located at the foot of Xiangshan Mountain in Xiangshan Town, Chongren County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province. It is a thousand-year-old ancient village. Wuzhang is renowned locally for its numerous ancestral halls, and these historic structures are especially famous for their blend of Chinese and Western cultural elements. Blessed with beautiful scenery and a rich history, Wuzhang can truly be called a “millennium-old ancient village.” Situated at the southern foot of Xiangshan Peak and bordered by Xiangshan to the north and Dahuashan to the south, the two famous mountains stand opposite each other from north to south; to the west lies Furong Mountain and to the east lies Xiaohuashan, with the two mountains flanking the village from east to west. Surrounded by continuous green hills that form a natural barrier, the open area in the center is home to Wuzhang Ancient Village.
