The Former Headquarters of the First Front Red Army was originally a civilian residence known as "Mingjing Residence," built in the late Ming Dynasty. It is located in Yaogang Village, Xiangshan Town, about 30 kilometers south of Chongren County. The residence covers an area of 193.88 square meters and more than 60 Red Army slogans from the Second Revolutionary Civil War period have been discovered here. The slogans include messages such as "Overthrow the officers who oppress soldiers..."

The Former Headquarters of the First Front Red Army was originally a civilian residence called "Mingjing Residence," built in the late Ming Dynasty. It is situated in Yaogang Village, Xiangshan Town, approximately 30 kilometers south of Chongren County. The building covers an area of 193.88 square meters, and more than 60 Red Army slogans from the Second Revolutionary Civil War period have been found here. Some of the slogans read: "Overthrow the officers who oppress soldiers," "Soldiers come from worker and peasant backgrounds—do not fight against your own Red Army," among others. Many of the slogans bear the signatures "Red Army/1st/Zheng(10) Propaganda" and "Red Army/1st/Zheng(14) Propaganda." Based on this, it is inferred that these slogans were likely written by troops of the 10th Army and the 14th Army of the First Front Red Army (or the 1st Corps). During the Huangpi Campaign, a temporary headquarters of the First Front Red Army was established in the "Mingjing Residence."
