Within an area of over 300 hectares around Wangshikeng in the forest park, the mountains and ridges are covered with dense stands of pine and fir trees, towering into the sky and covering the land. Among them, Masson pines dominate, most with a diameter at breast height of over 7 cm and a height of over 6 meters. Walking into the forest, you’ll see towering pines twisting like coiled dragons, each with a unique form. When the mountain breeze blows, the sound resembles the clashing of swords and spears, and the rustling waves of pine create a surging tide-like effect, growing stronger as it approaches, forming the distinctive Pine Waves landscape of Wangshikeng.
