Hulu Shan

Located in the Second Work Area, it is the highest peak among the forest park's mountain ranges, with an elevation of 1,101.3 meters. From afar, it looks like a towering, lush green gourd, which is why locals call it Hulu Shan, also known as Hulu Ling.

Hulu Shan is about four kilometers from the headquarters of Zhuxi Forest Farm. Currently, there is a rural road leading all the way to the mountain’s base. Throughout the year, the scenery of Hulu Shan varies with the seasons, but spring—with its blooming flowers, verdant trees, and gentle breezes—and autumn—with its fiery red maples and vast, lofty skies—are particularly distinctive.
