Mukou Red Army Slogans Group

The Mukou Red Army Slogans Group is a cultural relic protection unit of Xunwu County.

The Mukou Red Army Slogans Group is located in the ancestral hall of the Qiu family in Mukou Village, Chengjiang Town. Built in 1927, it faces south, features three bays, one entry with two halls and two side rooms, and is a large blue-brick tiled house with a raised-beam and hanging-roof structure. It is 15.5 meters wide and 20 meters deep, with six symmetrical wooden pillars supporting the upper and lower halls, and the corridor gate supported by two symmetrical wooden pillars. From 1929 to 1933, the Fourth Red Army, Seventh Red Army, Third Independent Division of the Red Army, the Xunwu County Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, and the Provisional Soviet Government of Xunwu County carried out revolutionary activities here. Many slogans left by the Red Army are preserved on the walls. It is one of the important modern revolutionary sites in Xunwu County and holds certain historical value for the study of the county's modern revolutionary history. On September 17, 2006, it was listed in the second batch of immovable cultural relics protection catalogues of Ganzhou City by the Ganzhou Municipal People's Government.

On August 27, 2012, the People's Government of Xunwu County designated it as a county-level cultural relic protection unit.

Chengjiang Town: Chengjiang Town is located in the northern part of Xunwu County, adjacent to Yunmenling in Huichang County, and is 27 kilometers from the county seat of Xunwu. The town covers a total area of 191 square kilometers. The mountainous area spans 200,000 mu, and arable land covers 18,000 mu. It administers 14 administrative villages: Beiting, Lingfu, Tuifeng, Xiewu, Wangwu, Mukou, Zhoutian, Zuhan, Changshe, Jiangbei, Guifeng, Guiling, Huanggang, and Dadun.
