Xiatian Tangwan Wai Long House is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

Xiatian Tangwan Wai Long House is located in Zhoutian Village, Chengjiang Town, Xunwu County.

In Xiatian Tangwan, the gate archway of the wai long house hall can be considered the finest part of the entire structure. The gate archway features a wall base made of polished red strip stones, topped with blue bricks, and faced with large square tiles. Directly above the lintel of the hall’s entrance is a stone plaque inscribed with the builder’s name or expressions of good wishes. What is truly breathtaking are the brick carvings inlaid around the plaque, with figures, flowers, birds, fish, and insects all exquisitely crafted and remarkably lifelike. In addition, the gate tower is also a crucial part of the entire building. According to locals, it governs the feng shui of the whole house. The orientation of the gate tower is very particular and must be carefully examined by a feng shui master.
