The Memorial Hall of the Three Poems of Meiling is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The Memorial Hall of the Three Poems of Meiling is located in the Meishan Red Culture Scenic Area, Jianshe Village, Nan'an Town, Dayu County, Jiangxi Province, 7 kilometers from the county seat. The site was the location of the Central Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party and the Central Government Office during the three-year guerrilla war of the Southern Red Army, serving as the central area of the Gan-Guang Border Guerrilla Zone. When Chen Yi was besieged in Zhai坑, Meishan, he wrote the stirring farewell poem "Three Poems of Meiling." Chen Yi’s hiding place is just 1 kilometer away from the memorial hall. To protect these precious revolutionary sites and relics, the people of Dayu built this memorial hall in his honor.

The Memorial Hall of the Three Poems of Meiling is a patriotic education base in Ganzhou City. It was opened to the public on September 26, 2017, and admission is free. The main building of the memorial hall covers an area of over 2,900 square meters, with an exhibition area of more than 1,300 square meters. The hall includes a special exhibition room for Marshal Chen Yi’s poetry, a painting and calligraphy exhibition room themed “China Dream · Soul of the Iron Army,” and a multi-functional video hall. The special poetry exhibition room consists of a prelude hall and four sections: “A Hard Struggle Through Countless Battles,” “Low-Hanging Evening Skies Over Dayuling,” “Flames of War Across the Land, Raising the Red Flag,” and “United in Resistance, Descending the Mountain.” Through sculptures, large-scale dioramas, photographs, books, and various historical relics, it vividly recreates the glorious history of the guerrilla war and promotes the revolutionary spirit of firm belief, perseverance, and hard struggle.

With its innovative design in both “architecture” and “exhibition,” the Memorial Hall of the Three Poems of Meiling offers visitors both material and spiritual enjoyment. It has become an important educational base for citizens to receive red education and carry forward red culture.
