The Harmony Bell Tower is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Ganzhou Harmony Bell Tower is situated on the south side of the approach bridge embankment to the east bank of the under-construction bridge in Hugang Village, Shuidong Town, Zhanggong District. It is a comprehensive theme park centered around a sightseeing bell tower, including urban landscape green spaces, historical and cultural exhibition areas, European-style streets, and a reception center. The project is designed in two parts: one is a European-themed park, which features a bell tower, auxiliary buildings, a reception center, European-style streets, a central square, and green areas; the other is a commercial and residential zone. The total site area is 485 mu, with an estimated construction investment of 290 million yuan. The Ganzhou Harmony Bell Tower stands 113 meters tall, has nine visible floors, and faces the Yuhong Pagoda across the river. Its façade adopts a modern European style and houses an exhibition area, display zones, a “Corridor of Time,” an observation deck, and a revolving restaurant. The clock tower will feature the world’s largest mechanical tower clock, with a dial diameter of 12.8 meters—surpassing the famous Big Ben in the UK. The theme park features statues of renowned scientists from ancient to modern times and from China and abroad, representing time and astronomy in different time zones. The tower clock will chime once at sunrise daily, every half hour during the day, and on the hour. The project was scheduled for completion by the end of June 2010. The Harmony Bell Tower is set to become a new iconic landmark of Ganzhou and the crowning touch in elevating the city’s overall image.
