Yongjin Gate, located near the intersection of Zhanggong Road and Lianxi Road, remains an important transportation hub for the daily life of Ganzhou residents. It was a dock during the Song Dynasty, and today leads directly to the pontoon bridge. The gate lies north of Jianchun Gate, with Bajing Park situated further north.

Ganzhou’s Yongjin Gate is known as the “Song City of the South.” A significant amount of the ancient city wall from the Song Dynasty still stands. Yongjin Gate is situated near the intersection of Zhanggong Road and Lianxi Road and continues to serve as a vital passageway for local residents. Crossing the gate brings you to the pontoon bridge dock on the Gong River. The historic floating bridge spans the emerald waters, witnessing the passage of countless travelers over the centuries. Ancient poets once described the bustling scene outside Yongjin Gate, writing: “Spring waters rise before Bajing Pavilion; outside Yongjin Gate, thousands of boats lie moored.”
