Hometown of Yan Song — Jieqiao Village, the birthplace and home where Yan Song lived for decades, is located in the southeast corner of the suburbs of Fenyi County, Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province. It sits against Yuanling Mountain and faces Provincial Highway Qingping. The hometown features dozens of ancient ancestral halls from the Ming and Qing dynasties, the real and fake burial sites of Yan Song, Yan Song Cave, and his family shrine — Shimen Nunnery.
