Former Site of the Ruyanfang Suppression Committee

The former site of the Ruyanfang Suppression Committee is located in Dakeng Natural Village, Tianxin Village, Yuanjing Area, Qianshan Town, Fenyi County. At that time, the Ruyanfang District was composed of three townships in Ji'an: Rulin, Yanfu, and Fangkuo, and also included a part of Dakeng Natural Village, Tianxin Village, Qianshan Town, Fenyi County. In early 1931, the Soviet government launched a suppression campaign, and the former site of the Ruyanfang Suppression Committee was the place used by the Ruyanfang District at that time to detain and interrogate individuals. The site is a Yang family ancestral hall, originally built during the Qing Dynasty, featuring a post-and-lintel style brick-and-wood structure.
