Xixi Zhao Fu Temple

Xixi Zhao Fu Temple is situated in Xixi Town, She County, and was initially constructed in the Ming Dynasty before being renovated in the Qing Dynasty. The temple occupies a site area of 2,372 square meters and has a built-up area of 837 square meters. The complex faces south and follows a longitudinal layout along a north-south axis stretching 85 meters in length. Along the central axis are, in order, the Mountain Gate, the Laughing Buddha Hall, the Buddha Master Hall, and the Thunder Sound Hall. Symmetrically positioned on the east and west sides are the Bell and Drum Towers, the Water-Land Hall, the King of Hell Hall, the Lüzu Hall, and the Guan Yu Hall. The Laughing Buddha Hall features a flush-gable roof covered with grey tiles and trimmed with glazed tiles. It is three bays wide and one bay deep, with a seven-rafter beam frame, and its eaves are adorned with five-curved double-drooping-bracket sets. It is now a key cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province.
