Quanzhou Forest Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Quanzhou Forest Park is located in Donghai Town, Fengze District, stretching west to Daping Mountain, east to Quanzhou Bay at Houzhu Port, south to Tonggang Road, and north to the estuary of Luoyang River, covering a total controlled area of 547.1 hectares. The park is built upon coastal resources such as the Greater and Lesser Peach Blossom Mountains and the Quanzhou Bay Estuarine Wetland Reserve, along with historical sites of the ancient Quanzhou city. It highlights the features of a historic cultural city, a renowned hometown of overseas Chinese, the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road, and a global hub of diverse religions. It will be developed into a picturesque natural ecological park composed of unique rocks, rivers, wetlands, seabirds, historical ruins, and forests. The construction of Quanzhou Forest Park will greatly improve the coastal forest ecological environment, maintain regional ecological balance, protect biodiversity, promote sustainable urban development, enhance environmental quality and the city’s image, and create favorable conditions for the city to strive for titles such as China's Best Tourism City, National Garden City, and International Garden City.
