The former site of the Red Army Eastern Army Uniform Factory is located at No. 163, Xidalu, Xuefeng Town, Mingxi County.

In July 1933, following the strategic deployment of the Provisional Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, Peng Dehuai and Teng Daiyuan led the Red Army Eastern Army, primarily formed around the 3rd Red Army Corps, into the Ningqinggui Soviet Area to carry out military operations. While besieging the Quanshang Earth Fort in Ninghua County, they recaptured Mingxi County on the 9th, liberating the entire counties of Mingxi and Qingliu as well as a large area in the northeast of Ninghua. The local militia leaders in Mingxi County, such as Ye Dazeng and Yan Minghan, fled overnight to neighboring counties. After the Red Army Eastern Army entered Mingxi, they established a political department and headquarters in the county town, a uniform factory at Cai Family Residence near the West Gate, and a military supply station at the Li Family Mansion at the West Gate. Temporary Red Army hospitals were set up at the Li Family Mansion on Ruxue Street, the Yang Family Mansion inside the East Gate, and the Cai Family Mansion outside the West Gate, treating over 300 wounded and sick soldiers.

The former site of the Red Army Eastern Army Uniform Factory was originally the ancestral home of the Cai family in Xuefeng Town. It is a Qing Dynasty building facing south with a rectangular layout. Along the central axis from north to south are the surrounding wall, courtyard, lower hall, patio, and upper hall. The building has a total width of 16.3 meters and a depth of 19.65 meters, covering an area of approximately 493 square meters. The main upper hall features five bays in width and seven columns in depth, with a post-and-lintel structure and a gable-and-hip roof. The floors of both the upper and lower halls are paved with a mixture of earth. The lower hall corridor has a rolled shed roof with a post-and-lintel and raised-beam structure. The entire structure is surrounded by brick and earthen walls.
