Ancient Ginkgo Trees of Longmenchang (Longmenchang, Youxi)

The ancient ginkgo garden is located in Longmenchang, Zhongxian Township, Youxi County, Fujian Province. Nestled among vast mountain ranges, it is a remote small natural village. It is famous for its more than 300 ancient ginkgo trees, each over 700 years old, and serves as a creative base for the Fujian Photographers Association. The ancient ginkgo trees of Longmenchang in Youxi are ecological garden treasures left behind by history, with historical legends also recording that Zhu Xi once wrote and lectured here. This group of ancient ginkgo trees consists of 353 trees, the surviving ginkgo cluster within a hundred acres around Zhongxian Township, and also the largest ancient ginkgo group in Fujian Province, with a history of over 800 years.
