The Former Site of the Min-Gan Provincial Soviet Government in Youxi is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Former Site of the Min-Gan Provincial Soviet Government in Youxi is located in Houxi Natural Village, Jingkou Village, Banmian Town, Youxi County, dating back to 1935.

Description: Originally the ancestral hall of the Zhang family, it was first built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty (1875–1908) and completed in the early years of the Republic of China. It covers an area of approximately 1,665.3 square meters, with a building area of about 1,708.2 square meters. The structure consists of two courtyards, including a winding stone path in front of the gate, a gate courtyard, a gate pavilion, an inner open space, a lower hall, a patio, side rooms, a main hall, wing rooms, and a large surrounding wall. In May 1935, the Central People's Committee resolved to establish the “Min-Gan Provincial Revolutionary Committee,” which governed 22 counties. In December, it was renamed the “Min-Gan Provincial Soviet Government,” using the Zhang family ancestral hall as its office location. This site is currently the only remaining former office of the Min-Gan Provincial Soviet Government in Fujian Province.

Protected area: East to the south bank of Houxi, west 10 meters outside the surrounding wall, south 10 meters outside the surrounding wall, north 10 meters outside the surrounding wall.

In 2018, the Former Site of the Min-Gan Provincial Soviet Government in Youxi was announced by the People's Government of Fujian Province as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units.
