Shujing Earth Fort is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Shujing Earth Fort is located in Shujing Village, Taixi Township, Youxi County, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: It consists of Guangyu Fort and Ruiqing Fort. Both are built against the mountain, with a layout that is low in the front and high at the back, comprising high steps in front of the fort, fort walls, fort gates, lower halls, central courtyards, wing rooms, main halls, side rooms, study halls and book towers, rear flower stands, horse-running paths, and watchtower-style corner turrets. Among them, Guangyu Fort was built in the 30th year of the Daoguang reign during the Qing Dynasty (1850), facing east with its back to the west. The main structure spans seven bays in width and nine columns in depth, covering a construction area of 2,200 square meters, featuring a post-and-lintel beam frame and a hanging gable roof. Ruiqing Fort was built in the 6th year of the Guangxu reign (1880), facing northeast with its back to the southwest. The main structure spans five bays in width and nine columns in depth, also featuring a post-and-lintel beam frame and a hanging gable roof, with a construction area of 2,300 square meters.

In 2013, Shujing Earth Fort was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Protected area: An additional 50 meters extending outward from the perimeter of both forts.

Shujing Village: The name Shujing is derived from combining one character each from the natural villages of Shuping and Jingling. It is located in a corner of the township government area of Taixi, about 3 kilometers from the government seat. The village has a total of 174 households and 742 residents (including 457 males and 385 females), divided into the two natural villages of Shuping and Jingling, six villager groups, and is classified as an economically underdeveloped village.

Shujing Village is situated in a hilly area, with an average elevation of about 450 meters. It has a subtropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature between 18–22 degrees Celsius and an average annual precipitation of 1,600–1,800 millimeters.
