The Lu Ancestral Hall in Zhuyuanli is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Lu Ancestral Hall in Zhuyuanli is located in Qichi Village, Xicheng Town, Youxi County, dating back to the Qing Dynasty to the Republican era.

Description: It consists of the Yongcheng Hall and the Yuting Hall. The Yongcheng Hall was built in the late Qing Dynasty, facing southeast and situated northwest, with a square-round floor plan. It includes a drainage ditch, a mountain gate, enclosing walls, an inner courtyard, side rooms, a lower hall, a patio, side rooms, a main hall, and wing rooms, covering a construction area of 2,700 square meters; the main hall features a five-bay width and five-pillar depth, with a post-and-lintel and through-tenon style beam frame, and a hanging gable roof. The Yuting Hall was built in the late Qing to early Republican period, also facing southeast and situated northwest, with an irregular rectangular floor plan, and its spatial layout and architectural structure are similar to those of the Yongcheng Hall.

In 2013, the Lu Ancestral Hall in Zhuyuanli was announced by the People’s Government of Fujian Province as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units.

Protected area: 26 meters eastward to farmland, southward to the north bank of paddy fields, 15 meters westward to new brick-concrete residences, and northward to the southern edge of the mountain.

Qichi Village: Qichi Village is adjacent to the town area, only 5 kilometers from the town center. Provincial Highway 206 runs through the village, and the future Shaxia Expressway Youxi Interchange is expected to be located here, offering convenient transportation. It is a large-population village, consisting of 5 natural villages, 27 villager groups, 666 households, and 2,679 residents, including 1,397 males and 1,282 females. The total labor force is 1,551, with 776 having transitioned to non-agricultural industries.
