Jiaoqi Daxian Bridge

Jiaoqi Daxian Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Songxi County.

Jiaoqi Daxian Bridge: Located in the central part of Jiaoqi Village, Weitian Town. It is a single-arch stone corridor bridge from the Qing Dynasty. The bridge deck is 21 meters long, 4.6 meters wide, with an area of 96.6 square meters. The protected area extends 10 meters outward in all directions.

Jiaoqi Daxian Bridge has been designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

Weitian Town: "Located in the northern part of Songxi County, 30 kilometers from the county seat. Established during the Qing Dynasty as the Patrol Inspectorate of the 14th District, it was under the jurisdiction of Yonghe Subcounty. In the early years after the founding of the People’s Republic, Weitian District was set up. In 1959, the Weitian Commune was established, which was restructured into a township in 1984 and soon after into a town. The total area of the town is 179.5 square kilometers, including over 220,000 mu of mountainous land and 30,730 mu of arable land. It governs 19 village committees and 164 villager groups, with a total population of nearly 26,500. There are 54,700 mu of bamboo forests, 9,293 mu of tea plantations, and 1,600 mu of plum orchards.
