Liudun Kiln Site

The Liudun Kiln Site is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Songxi County.

The Liudun Kiln Site is situated on the slopes of Hulu Mountain, about 300 meters north of Liyuan Natural Village in Liudun Village, Jiuxian Township, on the west side of the Songxi–Qingyuan Highway. During the Yuan Dynasty, the mountain was largely an elongated north–south ridge, approximately 70 meters long from north to south and 30 meters wide from east to west, covering an area of about 2,000 square meters. Its main products were celadon ceramics, with vessel shapes including bowls, plates, dishes, cups, and goblets, belonging to the Longquan Kiln system. The protected area extends 10 meters outward in all directions.

The Liudun Kiln Site has been designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Liudun Village: Located at the eastern edge of Songxi County on the border between Fujian and Zhejiang, Liudun Village is an interprovincial border village between Fujian Province and Zhejiang Province. The village consists of two natural villages, Liudun and Liyuan, with a jurisdictional area of 17.5 square kilometers, 10 villager groups, a total of 474 households, 1,800 residents, and 63 current Party members.

Liudun Village is a revolutionary base area village with a proud tradition of revolution. In 1958, it was awarded the title of “Advanced Unit in Agricultural Socialist Construction” by the State Council, signed by Premier [Name].
