The Yi Ancestral Hall

The Yi Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Songxi County.

The Yi Ancestral Hall is located in Shangdian Village, Zudun Township. Originally built during the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty, it has a history of over 300 years. It is one of the more intact ancestral hall buildings in the county that features Qing Dynasty architectural style, and is an immovable cultural relic with blood ties to the Yi family in Taiwan. The hall faces east and is a single-courtyard structure. It is 16.38 meters wide, 26.78 meters deep, with a construction area of 496.6 square meters. The protected area extends 10 meters outward in all directions; the construction control zone extends an additional 10 meters outward from the boundary of the protected area.

Shangdian Village: Shangdian Village in Zudun Township is located in the mountainous region of northern Fujian. It borders Provincial Highway 302 to the east, Shangdian Village to the south, Liuyuan Village to the west, and the border with Pucheng County to the north. The village administers three natural villages (Shangdian, Qiba Tun, and Fukaizui), seven villager groups, 243 households, and a total population of 970. The village covers a total area of 4.7 square kilometers, including 7,753.9 mu of forest land, 300 mu of bamboo forest, and 1,120.77 mu of arable land. It is the site of the Zudun Township government and is 23 kilometers from Songxi County.
